"I was born and raised on the West Coast and, as a young bride twenty years of age, came to Montana and have remained ever since. When I moved to the Flathead Valley, that is when my roots finally dug in and took hold. This is HOME." Pat went to Flathead Valley Community College to attain her AA degree and took a metal smithing class as a fun subject, not realizing how hooked she would become.
"Working with precious metals and gems has been a delightful joy. I have always been intrigued by anything that sparkles - and jewels sparkle." Nature inspires many of her designs. Simplicity is another element in her pieces. She remains in a constant learning mode and loves a challenge. "There is always something new to try, a new method, technique, new tool, new ideas, etc."
