"I spend a lot of time thinking how to create an image. I might paint, pour, scratch draw blend. I need to be inspired by beautiful lights and darks - and lots of color." Lois began drawing as a child, but many years ago was introduced to watercolor by Vern Wyman. She fell in love with the way the color will mix, blend, and do its own thing, and has never wanted to paint in any other medium,
She is motivated to paint by the beautiful scenery and flowers in Montana, as well as boats, children, and natural subjects. It took a lot of paintings to develop a style of her own - to paint an image that draws the viewer in with light and dark, and bright colors. She uses little detail unless painting children or animals. You can frequently find her painting while working her shift at Paint Metal and Mud. "Come say hi, and make my day!"
